Ojo Akin-Longe


Ojo Akin-Longe was Born in 1967. He graduated from University of Benin in 1989 with a degree in Geography, and did a post graduate at the University of Leicester, U.K, 2013. He worked with various Consulting Organisations as HR Consultant between 1991 and 1997, and then joined the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd, as HR Adviser. Between 1997 to May 2008, he held various roles such as Senior resourcing Adviser, Team Lead, Graduate Recruitment, Head, Experienced Recruitment, Head Industrial & Employee Relations, West. Between 2002 and 2006, he was elected into the Board of the Shell Staff Cooperative Society, and served as Board chairman between the years 2003 to 2005. He voluntarily requested severance from the Shell Company services with effect from May 31st 2008, to focus on private business interest, which range from Printing, publishing, advertising, photography and videography, and Franchisee for Young Engineer’s brand, a Children curriculum and extra-curriculum product aimed at stimulating kid’s interest in engineering, sciences and maths. Ojo is a professional member of the Advertising Practitioners council of Nigeria (APCON); and Council member of the Manufacturer’s Association of Nigeria (MAN), Rivers/Bayelsa Branch, and a Fellow of the Institute of Brand Management of Nigeria.

Ojo is assumed the role of Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of T & D Press Ltd, whilst also being Chairman and Managing Director of another sister Company, Memories & Images Ltd. The two businesses are into Printing, publishing, and advertising; and  photography and videography have three offices in Port Harcourt, and a combined Staff number of about 55 in Port Harcourt. He is Managing Director of a third business, Edutech Learning Resource Systems Ltd, which is a Franchise operatpr for Young Engineers, a Children enrichment and education system aimed at building interest and capacity in Kids for engineering, sciences and maths, based in Lagos,with six Employees.

The Group under his Chairmanship, has overseen the setting up of five business entities in Warri, Kano, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Lagos and Igarra in Edo State.  As well as having a registered business, Tammy & Dawn International in the United States of America, in the State of Connecticut.

His marriage is blessed with four beautiful and intelligent Children.

Ojo enjoys travelling and has been to various countries across the world, such as United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Belgium, Ghana, Togo, Gabon, Oman, and the United Arab Emirate.

Ojo is a Christian.
