He is a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons; Fellow of the
Medical College of Nigeria in Orthopaedic surgery and a fellow of the
International College of surgeons.
He also had training and Clinical Fellowship in Trauma care and pediatric
orthopedics from Cedar Crest Specialist Hospital, Abuja, Nigeria; Arthroplasty
and arthroscopy from Sancheti Specialist Hospital, Pune, India as well as Knee
and Hip replacement surgery from the Faculty Hospital, Bryno, Czech
Republic.
Dr. Diamond also has several certificates in health management, clinical
research and health care leadership from reputable universities around the
world.
He is a past president of the Association of Resident Doctors, University of Port
Harcourt Teaching Hospital Chapter and a past secretary of the Nigerian
Medical Association, Rivers State Chapter. He is also a member of the
Association of Surgeons of Nigeria (ASON), member of the Nigerian Institute
of Management and a Faculty member of the Advanced Trauma Life Support
(ATLS) Nigeria.
Dr. Diamond is the author of Towards Excellence in Academics: A balanced
practical approach to academic excellence. A 286-page book dedicated to
promoting academic excellence in tertiary and secondary schools and currently
in circulation in three continents (Africa, Europe, and Australia). He has also
authored and published several articles in local and international journals.
